The Family of Negative Man

based on analogue photographs of old black-and-white portrait photographs (found in a cemetery somewhere in the south), in which the white has turned to black and the black has turned to white (partly almost to nothingness) due to (over-)exposition to sunlight – some over 100 years –, we follow here through negative photography the trail of the transformation of traces back to a clear portrait.

Same as in the Shroud of Turin photographs, 1898.
